🏏 CWL Rounders Winter League Returns for Year 2 🏏

The CWL Rounders Winter League is back for its second season! After the huge success of last year’s inaugural competition, clubs from Carlow, Wexford, and Laois are once again ready to battle it out over the winter months in what promises to be an even bigger and better campaign.

📅 Key Dates

  • Start Date: Sunday, 5th October 2025
  • End Date: Sunday, 1st February 2026
  • Match Days: 8 Sundays of action across the winter
  • Opening Day Venue: Myshall GAA Club

Last season saw brilliant games, plenty of drama, and huge crowds coming out to support their clubs. This year promises even more with expanded fixtures, strong rivalries, and a full slate of competitions across Ladies, Mixed, and Men’s grades.

👩 Ladies League Teams

The Ladies competition features nine strong teams across Carlow, Wexford and Laois:

  • Myshall
  • Glynn/Barntown A
  • Glynn/Barntown B
  • Cuchulainn
  • Leighlinbridge A
  • Leighlinbridge B
  • Kilrush A
  • Kilrush B
  • Castletown
  • Emo

⚾ Mixed League Teams

Seven teams will take to the diamond in the Mixed competition:

  • Cuchulainn B
  • Glynn/Barntown A
  • Glynn/Barntown B
  • Emo

💪 Men’s League Teams

Four teams will compete for Men’s Winter League glory:

  • Cuchulainn
  • Myshall
  • Glynn/Barntown
  • Emo

📜 Opening Day Fixtures – 5th October

Pitch 1 (Mixed & Men) – Top Pitch

  • 11:15am: Myshall B v Myshall A
  • 12:30pm: Glynn/Barntown B v Cuchulainn B
  • 1:45pm: Emo v Glynn/Barntown A (Mixed)
  • 2:45pm: Cuchulainn v Glynn/Barntown (Men)
  • 3:00pm: Emo v Myshall (Men)

Pitch 2 (Social Ladies)

  • 11:15am: Leighlinbridge B v Kilrush A
  • 12:30pm: Myshall v Kilrush B

Pitch 3 (Ladies)

  • 10:00am: Cuchulainn Ladies v Leighlinbridge A Ladies
  • 11:15am: Leighlinbridge A Ladies v Castletown
  • 12:30pm: Emo Ladies v Glynn/Barntown B Ladies
  • 1:45pm: Glynn/Barntown A Ladies v Castletown
